This Is Usstar Mackenzie Hancsicsak knows there’s no better place to advertise her troop’sGirl Scout cookiesthan in a room full of hungry celebrities.
On Sunday, the 11-year-old actress — she plays 10-year-old Kate Person on the NBC series — posted a photo of herself alongside costar Parker Bates together holding up a box of Girl Scout cookies at theSAG Awards.
“If anyone at @SAGawards wants some @girlscouts cookies, I’m at table 34!” she captioned the shot.
Hancsicsak has sold nearly 100 boxes, and fellow cast members Chris Sullivan, Eric Baker and Lyric Ross have made purchases.
Last year, the show’s creator Dan Fogelman bought 100 boxes for the cast and crew.

“I think it’s important that young girls like myself feel they can be strong,” says Hancsicsak, who is also donating 20 boxes to troops. “I just want to show others that they can be anything they want. I act and I am a Girl Scout. We can be both while having fun and staying positive.”
And during an appearance onLive with Kelly and Michael,Garner revealed in 2016 that she’s a true cookie salesperson at heart.

“I’m the one telling the girls, you know, ‘Try to talk about the gluten free because they’re a dollar more.’ Let’s have an upsell!” she said.
This year, Girl Scouts across the United States will offer customers one of their twospecialty gluten-free cookies(Toffee-tastic is the other returning flavor), along with theirclassics: Thin Mints, S’mores, Caramel deLites/Samoas, Peanut Butter Patties/Tagalongs, Shortbread/Trefoils, Do-si-dos/Peanut Butter Sandwich, Lemonades, Savannah Smiles, and Thanks-A-Lot.
