A minor was arrested last week in connection with the Oct. 3mass shooting at Morgan State University, according to a police statement.

The minor was arrested last Thursday in Washington, D.C., and has been charged with numerous counts of attempted murder, the Baltimore Police Department said in astatement. Police are not naming the minor suspect.

Baltimore Police Commissioner Richard Worley announced the arrest and said authorities have an arrest warrant on an attempted murder charge for another suspect in the case, 18-year-old Jovan Williams.

“We will not rest until Williams is in custody,” Worley said, according to the statement. “While this arrest cannot undo the damage and trauma caused that day, it is my hope that it can bring some peace and justice to the victims, the Morgan community and our city.”
