One Florida couple started off their new marriage squeaky clean — after getting married at local car wash!

The groom Bruce and his girlfriend of five years Ingrid, who are both from Jacksonville, tied the knot in a ceremony held in their car as the vehicle went through the high powered wash cycle.

The duo shared the nearlytwo-minute-long videoof the special event with local news stationNews4Jax. In the clip, the pair could be seen smiling widely at each in the front seats of a car as their marriage officiant read out, “We are gathered here today to join this man and this woman in holy matrimony.”

The couple sported casual outfits with Bruce in a light blue sweater, black cap and black shades while Ingrid wore a colorful floral printed blouse with black sunglasses. They sat comfortably while conveyors moved the car forward.

As the officiant read out the exchange of vows from the backseat, different colored lights could be seen moving across the windows of the car as soap splashed the outside of the vehicle. “This woman [I take in marriage], yes. Yes, I do,” he said pointing at Ingrid as they laughed lightly at each other.

When it came to Ingrid’s exchange of vows, brushes could be seen outside the rear and side windows scrubbing the car clean as more lights danced across their car. “Absolutely, 100% [take him in marriage]. Love this guy!” she exclaimed.

The pair then recited their vows — while exchanging looks of excitement at each other — and followed in the officiant’s lead. More brushes could be seen on the outside wiping the soap off the car as the multi-colored lights got brighter in the car.

Swishing sounds could be heard outside the car, but that did not deter the couple, who appeared to take out their wedding rings from a compartment in the front of the car.

Bruce told the outlet that he thought the idea was also perfect adding that he and Ingrid — who met speed dating five-and-a-half years ago — are a creative pair who love to have unique experiences.
