In thelast trailer , we saw him get out of the fuel pod in a woods — looks interchangeable to where Scotty encounters Jaylah .
“ I am count on it , ” says Krall .
Beyond the destruction , take note the boastful curved structures in the background . This looks like an attack on the floating orb space place the Enterprise result from in the beginning in the drone . San Francisco might get a break this movie .
Scotty leaps for his life , as we ’ve seen before .
And something happens in that camp that upsets Uhura .
There ’s some sort of transporter chase / fight in this film . In the first poke , this same zappingdumpedKirk — in his crownwork and Google — and Jaylah on a transporter launch pad . This calculate like Kirk ’s being move from one station to another .
“ Fear of death is illogical , ” says Spock .
Jaylah looks like she ’s strapped into the older ship we run across the crew on in the first trailer , since her harness await just likethe one Suluhad on in the first lagger .
This look like Kirk tries to take hold of something , but falls out of a tugboat in that house of cards - place . It also bet much later in the movie than the launch of the enterprisingness , going by Kirk ’s jacket .

There ’s a fleck of an action montage , full of thing from the first trailer . What is novel is Krall study up on Kirk . Ca n’t separate if he ’s hack on into Federation filing cabinet or if this is the next version of Wikipedia .
“ Everyone who goes there , he kills , ” Jaylah says . Perhaps explaining the horror on Uhura ’s aspect sooner .
Sulu and Uhura seem to be the only elderly crew members in that place . “ That ’s our friends out there . We canna just go out ‘ em behind , ” articulate Scotty .
More of the attack , with an even better view of the superstructure , which kind of show that this city is the float space station .

If I had to tack together the canonic structure of Star Trek Beyond , it would take off with the Enterprise at the space place — which has some McGuffin , clearly . Then Kirk meets with Aghdashloo and set out the mission , which goes badly , stranding the crew on Krall ’s major planet . There ’s the rescue of the captured by the non - capture and the use of a ship from the ship necropolis to lam . Krall ’s plan involve the distance station somehow and Kirk and crew go there in the previous ship to confront him .
Meanwhile , is this the dish aerial of the Enterprise falling to the planet ?
This attend a heap like the quondam ship the Enterprise crowd uses to escape arriving back at the blank space station .
And our crew ( partially ) reunited — with Spock and McCoy as part of the saving force .

And the rest of the casting reminding us how good they are at reaction shots .
Spock ’s eyes here are awe-inspiring .

We still do n’t know much about the baddie ’s motivation other than that it ’s entail to question the philosophy of the Federation , but we can traverse the full structure of the human action . Attack , stranded , reunification , stamping ground of ship , rescue , and backwash to save the Federation . And some comedy .
