Diane Kruger’s daughter Nova is one happy 4-year-old!
On Tuesday, the actress, 47, shared a sweet Instagram video revealing that her little girl’s night had been made thanks to the New York City Fire Department.
In the cute post, Nova walked down the street wearing a red firefighter helmet with her dadNorman Reedusnext to her.
“Best job ever, yeah,” actor Reedus, 54, said as he turned to the camera, seemingly in conversation with his daughter, before he took her hand. While it wasn’t clear whether the family had visited a specific FDNY precinct, Kruger shared that her daughter had enjoyed her evening.
“NYC Strong@fdny❤️🌈🙏 Thank you for all you do and especially for making Nova’s night ❤️,” Kruger captioned the clip.
Kruger and Reeduswelcomed Nova in November 2018. The couplemet on the set of 2015 filmSkyand went public with their relationship in March 2017. In August 2021, a sourceconfirmed to PEOPLE that they were engaged.
Nova is Kruger’s first child and Reedus' second.The Walking Deadstar is also dad to 23-year-old son, Mingus, from his relationship with supermodelHelena Christensen.

Sharing how she and Reedus had decided on the moniker Nova and middle name Tennessee, Kruger said, “I had her late in life at 42, and [Norman] had a child when he was much younger. ‘Nova’ in Latin means new beginning, and a nova star keeps changing and is reborn. And we love Tennessee and the Smoky Mountains; we do motorcycle trips there."
“I wanted to be a mom and I was sure I was going to like it, but just the magnitude of wanting to be there every second, not missing a thing,” she said.
“[Nova] was a surprise. I thought it wasn’t going to happen, and she came into my life when I was ready,” theNational Treasurestar added. “I’m grateful that happened for me and our family. She’s changed my world and the way I look at everything.”
