West to recapitulate the part for a goofy skit for the coming Walking Dead special episodes . But it turns out West ca n’t whistle , so the team recruited Daniel Radcliffe alternatively .
Radcliffe ’s cameo appearance will be in a skit where Gareth and the citizens of Terminus welcome Rick and the gang to townsfolk , before the revealing of , you know , the whole cannibal thing . Because this is Robot Chicken , they do so with an elaborate melodic number . verbalise to Yahoo , director Tom Sheppard and author Breckin Meyer bring out that West turned down a take to the fictitious character because he ’s not a Isaac M. Singer . rather , the Robot Chicken team found an surprising alternative :
Sheppard : When we were start out to the role player from the show , the broker for the actor who played Gareth [ Andrew J. West ] from Terminus order he does n’t sing . So Seth [ Green ] put a call into Daniel Radcliffe …

Sheppard : Yes , like you would do . And basically we had Daniel Radcliffe singing the Terminus song .
The thought of a group of antipathetic cannibal breaking out into a welcoming show melody is already zany enough for Robot Chicken , but the fact that it ’ll be a routine led by Harry Potter just makes it even better .
