Los Angeles is a pretty comfortable city to stereotype . You ’re stuck in eternal dealings on the 405 while wolfing down a Warren Earl Burger from In - N - Out . Or you ’re sipping unripened juice at a coffeehouse next to an actor from that one picture show . Or you ’re listen to someone talk over their screenplay . Or you ’re at the beach .
Some of the stereotype are altogether dependable . Some are altogether stupefied . But as someone who grew up in Los Angeles , I ’ve always retrieve it interesting to get word what visitant think about this extend - out collective of neighborhood screw up around act to be a city .
This video recording , LA Gifathon by James Curran , is a series of 30 gifs that highlight an aspect of life in Los Angeles . Curran drop a month in Los Angeles and animated a new gif every day using what he saw around the city as inspiration . It ’s cunning and fun and the animation panache is pretty darn gratifying .
