The image is pretty reminscent of Charlie Chaplin get in the gears in Modern Times . It ’s peculiarly an interesting statement about the time and place where it seem .
The carving premiered at an exhibition in Wuhan , one of the fast growing city in China with 9 million citizenry . Wuhan is a major industrial center , with car and brand manufacturing as well as a lot of gamy - technical school exploitation . So maybe it ’s not suprising that Xiang is gloss on the power of science to distort and crush us .
