It work out about as well in touch as it does on non - touch cameras — which is unspoilt than Nikon ’s I palpate , since it use a crossbreeding bar type of GUI that Sony ’s right at . perhaps slightly bigger button would assist . Overall , Sony ’s is one of the nicer camera UIs — not frightfully confusing .
Too much stuff happens on the back of their cameras , but Panasonic ’s hint UI seems ‘ particularly designed for fingers , with magnanimous , finger - friendly option . That say , it looks better than the mussy menu on the back of their late DSLR .
Casio has the worst UI out of any camera I agree out . It ’s cluttered , tiny , ugly and every other sinning in the book .
Basic , tedious , not particularly helpful .
I mentioned how much I like Samsung’slist UI on the TL320earlier . It ’s straightforward , light to navigate and search fairly ripe . So Sony gain ground by a nose . Weird , Sony gain a UI battle , I know . Nikon ’s pinch interface is just too monstrous to be considered .

But it ’s a tricky residuum : How do you simplify auser interfacefor quick , easy accession to subroutine while containing the smorgasbord of new features crammed into every genesis of cameras ?
