( Also fun : The actors clearly enjoying themselves making the show – Adam Baldwin seems to have perfected the chewing scenery art of the growling by now , and Zachary Levi ’s wide doubletakes are a fun slapstick guilty pleasure . )

I ’m not so indisputable about the apparent “ Chuck is so powerful he ’s a danger to others ” musical theme that I palpate we ’re going to see a lot more of ; so much of what we ’ve seen so far overact the idea that Chuck ca n’t enter the entropy at the right time that the idea that he ’ll somehow become a superman is just a small unconvincing , but I guess that ’ll change over the next few episodes . Even if it does n’t , though , I ’m happy that Chuck is back , peculiarly based upon the character of the curtain raising episodes : Very few shows carry off the mix of funniness , adventure and soap opera as well as this one does . Just do n’t kill off Awesome , ok ?
