Marvel ’s Civil War arc is both legendary and deucedly convoluted , involving just about every hero you ’ve ever heard of ( and a ton you have n’t ) over50 issues published across over a XII title . Even though there ’s a collect edition now , nothing beats the brevity of a four minute animated explainer to catch you up on what any of this confusing saga is about .
clean warning : This contains many , many spoilers for the comic , and some ( but probably not all ) of these events might be recreated in thenew Captain America movie .
The main stab of Civil War start when a radical of superheroes by chance contribute to a tragic carnage of innocent life . The political science enacts a police force that forces superheroes to record with the governance or be considered a criminal for continued acts of vigilantism . Iron Man incline with the government and becomes obsessed with gaol every hero who does n’t posit to the practice of law ; Captain America thinks the law impugns his civil familiarity to plug bad guys in the face whenever he wants , and go away on the running play .

The two Avengers and onetime Quaker adamantly refuse to blab our their differences and rather institute about a superhero warfare which needlessly costs several superheroes their lives . Basically , everyone involve roleplay like a full arse .
It ’s complicated , andNoah Sterlingdoes a far better ( and funnier ) line explaining it , but if you think this is mussy , just wait until the Avengers movies get to the Infinity War arc .
